Adam van Koeverden
Twenty six year old Adam van Koeverden from Oakville, Ontario burst onto the world paddling stage in 2003 winning his first medal at the World Championships with a second place finish in K-1 1000 metres. Adam rose quickly to become a dominant global force in men’s kayaking. In Athens at the 2004 Olympic Games, Adam won gold in the Men’s K-1 500 metre event and bronze in the Men’s K-1 1000 metre. Adam captured his first world championship title in 2007 in the Men’s K-1 500 metre event. At the 2008 Summer Olympic Games Adam won a silver medal in the Men’s K-1 500 metre event. Adam is one of a handful of Canadian athletes to be selected as the Flagbearer for the Canadian Olympic Team on two different occasions, the Closing Ceremonies for the 2004 Summer Olympic Games and the Opening Ceremonies for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games.

Anne Murray
Canada's foremost singer of the past four decades, Anne Murray has delighted millions of fans around the world with her signature voice and time honoured songs. In the course of her illustrious career, she has sold over 54 million recordings. Her many honours and accolades include four Grammy Awards, a record 24 Juno Awards, three American Music Awards and three Canadian Country Music Awards.
Anne is a member of the Companion of the Order of Canada. She has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame and is a recipient of the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame Legacy Award. She is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame Walkway of Stars in Nashville and has her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and on Canada's Walk of Fame.
In 2007, Anne was honoured with a postage stamp bearing her picture and released her 35th album, Duets: Friends & Legends. In 2009, she wrote a memoir of her public and private life, "All of Me," which became a national best-seller. In 2010, she was one of several notable Canadians who carried the Olympic Flag into the stadium at the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Darryl Sittler
Darryl Sittler is one of the greatest players to ever wear the Toronto Maple Leaf uniform. The former centre man was Toronto's first choice in the 1970 Amateur Draft, and he embarked on a career that led him to the top of the Leafs’ All-Time Points and Goal Scoring List.
The native of Kitchener, Ontario may well be remembered for two of the most remarkable performances in the history of the National Hockey League. On February 7, 1976, he scored six goals and added four assists for an NHL record total of 10 points in a game. That spring, he joined Maurice Richard in hockey history by recording five goals in one playoff game. He also scored one of the most famous goals in hockey history, the overtime goal against Czechoslovakia to win the 1976 Canada Cup.
Darryl’s place among the sport's all-time greats came in 1989 with his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame. In 1995-96, Darryl was voted by fans as the centre man on the All-Time Leafs Team, and on February 8, 2003, Toronto retired Sittler’s No. 27.

Emmanuelle Chriqui
Emmanuelle Chriqui hails from Montreal Quebec, and has appeared on both television and the big screen. Most notably Chriqui is known for her roles on HBO's Entourage as Sloan and as Dalia Hakbarah, the Palestinian hair stylist in You Don't Mess With The Zohan. In May 2006, Maxim magazine named her no. 37 in its annual Hot 100 list and in 2008 Chriqui was named the 12th most beautiful woman in Hollywood.
Chriqui was nominated for a Best Actress DVD Exclusive Award for her performance in 100 Girls and was nominated, with Lance Bass, for a Choice Lip lock Teen Choice Award in On the Line. Recently, she won the Standout Performance Trophy at the Young Hollywood Awards.

Neil Crone
Neil Crone is an actor, writer and comedian currently starring in CBC's hit situation comedy 'Little Mosque on the Prairie'. A Second City Mainstage alumnus, Neil's film and television credits include; Hollywoodland with Adrian Brody, Wind at My Back, Eerie Indiana, The Red Green Show and CTV’s Power Play. A mainstay of Saturday morning cartoons his voice can be heard on such shows as Erky-Perky, Pearlie and The Adventures of Bob and Doug Mackenzie.
Most recently Neil was awarded the 2008 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Radio Bit for his work as ‘Bad Santa’ on Q107’s Derringer in the Morning.
He is also an award-winning syndicated columnist for Metroland Papers.

Pamela Wallin
The Honourable Pamela Wallin, O.C., S.O.M., was appointed to the Senate of Canada on December 22, 2008. She is the Chancellor of the University of Guelph and she serves on several corporate boards, including CTVglobemedia, Canada’s premier multimedia company with ownership in CTV and The Globe and Mail; Gluskin Sheff & Associates, an investment and wealth management firm; Oilsands Quest, an energy development company; Porter Airlines, Canada's newest air carrier; and Jade Tower, an independent antenna site and tower company. Pamela is an Officer of the Order of Canada, and was appointed to the Independent Panel on Canada’s Future Role in Afghanistan by Prime Minister Harper in 2007. She served as Consul General of Canada in New York from 2002-2006. Pamela is the Senior Advisor on Canada-US relations at the Americas Society and the Council of the Americas in New York. She is a member of a special Advisory Board for BMO Harris Bank, a co-Chair of the National Strategy Council for the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute and a Board member of the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research.
